Welcome to ZLH Studios
ZLH Studios is not a traditional performing arts school. We are a confidence-led performing arts organisation offering specialised programmes and opportunities for children and young people.
More than 1,000 young people take part in ZLH Studios every week across Essex, London and beyond. Everything we offer shares the same purpose: developing confidence, creativity and a genuine love of performing arts within a safe, supportive environment.
Our Founder
ZLH Studios was founded by performing arts entrepreneur Zoe Louise Harrison.
Having trained from a young age at leading institutions including Sylvia Young Theatre School, ArtsEd and Urdang, Zoe experienced both the incredible opportunities and the pressures that can exist within the performing arts industry.
She founded ZLH Studios to create the environment she believes every young performer deserves: one where high standards and exciting opportunities exist alongside genuine care for confidence, individuality and emotional wellbeing.
What began as one programme has grown into an organisation supporting more than 1,000 young people every week.
Our Permanent Programmes
Our three permanent programmes are our Show Programmes, Princess Musical Theatre and School Programmes.
Young performers rehearse towards exciting full-scale productions, working with experienced creative teams while developing their acting, singing and dancing.
Our show programmes allow children to experience the excitement and high standards of professional-style theatre while being supported as individuals throughout the process. Click HERE to find out more!
Princess Musical Theatre is our magical early-years programme, available at locations across Essex.
Children are introduced to singing, dancing, acting and imaginative play through a princess theme.
Little Princess is designed for our youngest performers 16m+, while Princess Musical Theatre gives children aged 3–6 the opportunity to build confidence, develop performance skills and enjoy their own special moments to shine. Click HERE to find out more.
School Programmes
We partner with schools across Essex, London and beyond to deliver specialist performing arts and confidence-building programmes directly to their pupils.
Not in your childs school? Introduce us! If your referral leads to a new school partnership, you’ll receive a cash referral reward as our thank you.
Exclusive Classes and Opportunities
Alongside our permanent programmes, we regularly release exclusive one-off classes, workshops, masterclasses, events and performance opportunities.
These give young people the chance to explore something new, work with different teachers and industry professionals, and enjoy unique experiences outside our permanent provisions.
Places for these opportunities are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis. New opportunities are announced throughout the year through our website and social media channels.
