We believe true confidence is built through quality training, clear standards, and emotional safety — not pressure or fear. Every programme we offer is designed to help students grow technically, creatively, and personally, while feeling secure enough to take risks, make mistakes, and be seen.

A warm welcome to all...
I’m Zoe Louise Harrison, founder and director of ZLH Studios.
I trained at some of the UK’s highest-level professional dance and musical theatre institutions, spending my formative years in environments where excellence, discipline, and high standards were the norm.
After completing my training, I made a very intentional decision: I wanted to bring that level of training home — but to deliver it differently.
I didn’t want to replicate traditional, pressure-led models that can prioritise results over people. I created ZLH Studios around one core belief: young people thrive most when high-quality training is delivered in environments that feel safe, supportive, and confidence-building.
At ZLH Studios, confidence is not a by-product of training — it is a core outcome.
Today, ZLH Studios supports over 600 students training with us every week across schools, classes, academies, and performance projects. Every programme we run is designed to develop strong, capable performers while protecting wellbeing and nurturing self-belief.
My work sits at the intersection of professional-level training and emotional intelligence. I believe young performers should be challenged, held to high standards, and encouraged to grow — without fear, shame, or unnecessary pressure.
Whether we are working with beginners or advanced performers, our mission remains the same:
To create confident performers who feel safe to try, fail, grow, and be seen.
ZLH Studios continues to expand across Essex and London, offering a clear progression from early confidence-building experiences to advanced performance and professional-level intensives — all rooted in the same core values.
